Cody grew up in central Ohio and played soccer at MVNU while majoring in Spanish and Intercultural Studies. Jen grew up in Indonesia and played soccer at Nyack College, graduating with a degree in Psychology. Cody and Jen met through the Chicago Eagles in 2009 and were married in 2012. They have three daughters - Sofia, Brooklyn, and Kaliah.

Cody and Jen got their start with the Eagles through Chicago's Summer Academy in 2009. They joined Chicago's staff in 2011 and helped pioneer Chicago's Urban ministry and Club strategies until they relocated to Southern California in 2023. 

Cody currently serves as the Executive Director for the Eagles in Southern California, working to build partnerships, lead ministry leaders, and shepherd the mission in this region. Jen coaches in youth programming and serves in club administration.
