Vickie & I felt called to MAI in 1992.  I had been a principal at a Christian high school in Northern California, but responded to the President of MAI at that time to consider coming to LA as the Director of the office.  After much prayer & consideration, we brought all four kids (ages 6, 8, 10 & 12 at the time) to La Mirada, where we served as the Director of the LA office for 25 years. In that time I was involved as GM of the men’s team, led camps, and have led outreach to Japan each summer for the past 30 years. During that time, Vickie worked in the office for HQ and the LA ministry as a bookkeeper.

I am involved in the ministry as Director of Advancement and Japan ministries. I also spend a significant amount of time investing in and encouraging the relationships from many years of ministry. After over 34 years of full time ministry, we are trying to “slow down, but are NOT retired.  We are encouraged about the new leadership and staff and passionately work alongside them.
