My name is Dylan Memory. I grew up in Yucaipa and Redlands, California, with my parents, Eric and Julie Memory, and two older sisters, Erica and Kelli. I grew up there playing soccer as well as Baseball year-round, along with just about every other sport, with all of my neighborhood friends growing up. I was very blessed to have the childhood that I had, and I owe a lot of what I have now to the Lord blessing my family and me in every way til now. After growing up here in SoCal, I decided to stay and go to college close by at Biola University to play college soccer. I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, along with a minor in Bible, and played there until 2024. I also played for Redlands FC and our very own Eagles USL2 team here in SoCal for the last five years.

My first interaction with MAI came in 2019 when I got to go to Japan on a trip with the Biola University Men's soccer team and Paul Gizzi for my freshman year at Biola. From there, one of my friends and Biola teammate, Gabe Berthoud, invited me to Valencia Park Elementary School a few times during the year for the after-school soccer program that they ran there. After that, it felt like dominos kept falling. I was brought into their growing Rec program in La Mirada and Yorba Linda, then introduced to coaching a club team in the Eagles. In the summer of 2023, I was a part of the first Summer Academy here in SoCal, and fell in love with the deeper sides of the ministry and how much of my life it was consuming. In 2024, I wrapped up my time at Biola and joined staff.

I currently live in our Urban ministry focused area of West Fullerton where I help with our after-school program at Valencia Park Elementary School, and growing Rec and Urban outreach programs in the area. I help coach in our Fullerton and La Mirada Rec and Rec+ programs. In the summers, I have played for our Eagles USL2 team for the last several years, as well as help with our Urban block parties and Open Fields.
